Two Sizes
Both the stainless steel and the powder-coated steel hoppers are available in 8’ and 10’ body lengths, giving you a rounded capacity of either 2.5 or 4.1 cubic yards.
Conveyor and Drive
The PRO-CASTER spreader conveyor is a 16” wide pintle chain. This wider conveyor reduces bridging and moves more material for faster unloading.
A positive chain-and-sprocket drive for the conveyor system eliminates the stretching and slippage sometimes encountered by V-type drive belts when placed under a heavy load. A superior rust-resistant coating extends chain life.
Power Options
Choose between the 10.5 HP I/C Briggs & Stratton engine, or the 11 HP I/C Honda engine. Most models are also available with a hydraulic motor. Gas engine spreaders feature a cab-mounted electronic throttle control, with a choke indicator light, and electric clutch.
Cab-Mounted Throttle Control
Features a choke indicator light and electric clutch for gas engine spreaders.
Poly Spinner Chute
Replaceable poly-spinner chute deflectors will not rust and are more forgiving when encountering obstacles while backing up.
Center High Mounted Stoplight (CHMSL)
The Center High Mounted Stoplight (CHMSL) is standard and meets FMVSS requirements.
Inverted Vee Kit
Standard on the High Capacity models, the Inverted Vee helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the drive train. It’s an available option on Standard Capacity models.
Heavy-Duty Top Screen
The optional heavy duty top screen keeps foreign materials like rocks and ice chunks out of the hopper body.
